E-Complex Technical Institute & E-Rozgar Institute Organize Grand Career Counseling Event for BBSHRRDB Students

Empowering Youth Through Skills, Education & Career Development

A grand Career Counseling Event was successfully organized by E-Complex Technical Institute in collaboration with E-Rozgar Institute for students enrolled in the Free Technical Skill Development Programs under the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research & Development Board (BBSHRRDB). The event brought together government officials, educationists, industry experts, media representatives, and students with a shared vision of empowering youth through technical education, career guidance, and professional development.

The ceremony was designed to bridge the gap between education and employment by providing students with practical career counseling, freelancing awareness, entrepreneurship guidance, and motivation to excel in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy. Hundreds of students, trainers, and distinguished guests participated in this inspiring event held at E-Complex Technical Institute, Gulshan-e-Hadeed Phase-1, Bin Qasim Town, Karachi.

Opening Ceremony

The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a beautiful Naat-e-Rasool ﷺ, creating a respectful and spiritual atmosphere. The audience warmly welcomed the honorable guests, after which the formal proceedings of the Career Counseling Session began.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr. Umair Shahid emphasized that true success comes through consistency, dedication, and continuous learning. He encouraged students to remain focused on one professional field, master their skills, and avoid distractions.

He highlighted that in today’s competitive world, technical education alone is not sufficient; students must also develop communication skills, professional ethics, confidence, creativity, and digital competencies. He advised students to explore freelancing, entrepreneurship, and international online marketplaces in addition to traditional employment opportunities.


Importance of Higher Education

Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Regional Director Sindh of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), explained the university’s vital role in providing affordable and flexible education across Pakistan.

He informed students that AIOU offers a wide range of educational programs including:

Mr. Jehangir Kamal, Assistant Director Media, highlighted the achievements of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource Research & Development Board (BBSHRRDB).

He shared that the Board has trained more than 500,000 youth across Sindh through various free technical and vocational programs. Many graduates have become financially independent through employment, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and self-employment initiatives.

He appreciated the efforts of partner institutes like E-Complex Technical Institute and E-Rozgar Institute for delivering quality technical education to deserving students.


Vision of Skill Development

Addressing the audience, Engr. Taimur Ali Siyal, Regional Consultant to the Chief Minister Sindh, stated that BBSHRRDB is actively promoting the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto by creating employment opportunities through technical education.

He emphasized that empowering youth with practical skills is one of the most effective ways to reduce unemployment and strengthen the national economy.

He particularly praised the training programs offered by E-Complex Technical Institute, including:

He explained that Web Development has become one of the most in-demand professions worldwide, allowing Pakistani youth to earn through international freelancing platforms.

Similarly, he highlighted that women completing Beautician and Dress Making courses can establish their own businesses, beauty salons, boutiques, and stitching centers, enabling financial independence.


Supporting Youth & Women

Mr. Agha Tariq Pathan, Deputy Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party District Malir, appreciated the remarkable contribution of E-Complex Technical Institute and E-Rozgar Institute toward youth development.

He stated that these institutions have become valuable educational centers for the people of District Malir by providing free technical education aligned with current industry demands.

He acknowledged that such initiatives help students become productive members of society while contributing to economic growth and community development.


Women Empowerment

The Chief Guest, Ms. Shaheena Sher Ali Baloch, Provincial Minister for Women Development, delivered an inspiring keynote address focused on women empowerment.

She appreciated the outstanding work being carried out by E-Complex Technical Institute in providing technical education for women.

She announced that collaborative initiatives would be introduced to launch E-Commerce Training Programs that would enable women entrepreneurs to connect with international marketplaces and sell locally produced products globally.

She also emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering women according to the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

The Minister further expressed her support for introducing financial assistance and loan facilities that would help trained women establish their own businesses after completing their courses.

During the same event, certificates were also distributed among successful graduates of the National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Prime Minister Youth Development Program – Batch 2.

The graduates proudly received their certificates after successfully completing their professional technical training, marking another important milestone in their educational journey.

In recognition of their dedication and outstanding services, trainers, instructors, administrative staff, and management members of E-Complex Technical Institute and E-Rozgar Institute were presented with Special Appreciation Shields.
